Entrance Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Personal Interview with an MTI admissions representative and an Instructor
  • Completion of a basic mechanical aptitude test 

MTI is a selective program. Applicants will be chosen based on the evaluation of their ability to successfully complete the program. Not all applicants will be accepted.

Enrollment Dates

Registration for classes will be accepted until one week prior to the start of the session. Orientation will be scheduled following the end of the registration period, and prior to the first class. Orientation acquaints Students with all Administration staff and Instructors. Orientation also provides necessary information regarding the following: MTI's policies and standards, outline of curriculum, grading standards, introduction to learning software, dress code, rules of conduct and information regarding the facility. Necessary log-ins, passwords, app downloads and assistance with completion of any required forms and documents will also be provided.

The following date is the ENROLLMENT DEADLINE for the summer term:

  • 2019 Summer Term- June 3rd
  • Classes begin June 10th
