What is this program for? We are an Automotive Technician Efficiency Training program. We train you to be an effective entry level auto mechanic in just 20 weeks of focused hands on training. Our students have access to the top employers in the industry for part-time work during school and full-time work upon graduation.

What is the tuition? The tuition is a small investment for a lifetime career. Mechanics are in huge demand everywhere and wages continue to climb. The cost includes registration fee, learning materials fee, uniforms-three Matrix long-sleeve professional shirts, Matrix work jacket, and a professional grade Matco Tool Kit & Cart (valued at $3000) for those who successfully graduate for $15,500.

Is Financial Aid available? Yes, students accepted into the program have access to student loan programs that are very favorable. In addition, we work with employers who offer full tuition reimbursement programs.

How long is the program? We offer 20-week accelerated program that takes you from learning to earning as fast as possible.

Is This Program Registered & State Approved? We are registered under the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools. Registration number: 2144. Our curriculum follows NATEF/ASE accreditation guidelines.

What kind of certification do I receive? Upon graduation you’ll receive Matrix Trade Institute’s Certificate of Completion for Automotive Maintenance, Light Repair and Efficiency. In addition, students will be prepared for and take the ASE G1certification test.

What hours of the day are classes? Our morning session runs from 8am-1pm and most students take advantage of the opportunities we provide for them to work for our employer partners to earn money, gain experience and get their foot in the door for a job immediately after graduation MTI plans to offer an evening session during the summer term from 4pm-9pm. Classes are Monday-Friday.

When do classes start? Our spring session began on 1/14/2019. Our summer session begins on 6/10/19. The application deadline for the summer session is 6/3/19.

What pre-qualifications does the program require? Highschool degree or GED, hard work, dedication and desire for an excellent career with unlimited advancement and income potential.
