Montrose Nissan of Hermitage’s Shayne Wertz was eager to advance his career as a technician but wasn’t sure when he’d get that opportunity.

That is when his manager approached him about an advanced electrical diagnosis efficiency training course.

Upskill Efficiency Training

Learning an efficient process in regard to diagnosing critical electrical issues like fault code breakdowns, intermittent faults, high-speed CAN & LIN bus networks, etc. was exactly the push that Wertz needed to feel he was on a strong career path.

“The opportunity to learn and test new skills on bugged vehicles is why I’m now confident that I will be able to perform at a higher level and solve these types of issues,” explained Wertz.

Strong Career Path

By providing a simulated shop environment where mistakes are expected and lead to a better understanding of processes and procedures required to efficiently diagnose and repair vehicles, Matrix is leading the way with a modern approach to help businesses retain and recruit technicians.

“I have seen so much growth in myself from this automotive training. I can’t thank my manager enough. I know other mechanics, auto body techs, and service advisors, and I can’t wait to tell them about this type of training as well,” Wertz said.
